Designed for the demanding needs of critical industrial applications, the DJI Zenmuse XT 640 Tau2 30Hz combines DJI’s expert gimbal technology and advanced image transmission with FLIR’s groundbreaking and professional thermal imaging technology. Together, these industry-leading brands in thermal imaging and consumer drones created a high-performance thermal camera that makes fast and reliable aerial thermal imaging easy. With a higher digital video display and faster frame rate compared to its siblings, this DJI Zenmuse XT variant is perfect for capturing highly-detailed and lifelike thermal videos and still images, as well as accurate thermal measurements over large areas. The Zenmuse XT imaging functions can be controlled with the DJI XT Pro iOS app, which was specifically developed with the help of firefighters and industrial inspectors and designed to make vital surveillance missions simple and easy with real-time camera views and accurate temperature estimates.
Wide Range of Applications
The DJI Zenmuse XT 640 Tau2 30 Hz is used by many drone experts for all sorts of home, agriculture, and service and security applications. Its uses include (but are not limited to) search and rescue operations, firefighting, detecting home and building insulation leaks, electrical and solar panel inspections, and harvest monitoring. Whatever it is, the DJI Zenmuse XT can meet your specific project requirements as it is or with custom upgrades. *Image Courtesy of FLIR
User-Specific Camera Models
The DJI Zenmuse XT comes in two types of camera models that reveal seemingly invisible details by showing differences in temperature within a given area:
Radiometric
Designed for inspectors as it captures detailed temperature data and allows users to get accurate (low/average/high) temperature measurements within a selected area with a simple tap of a pixel.
Performance
Capable of doing quick and real-time visualizations of temperature differences and estimates at the center of the camera view. This model is perfect for emergency responders in need of visual assistance in firefighting and rescue operations.
Advanced Image Enhancements and Optimization
Infrared or thermal imagery often needs a little boost in quality and detail in order to capture highly accurate and reliable information. Accurate image optimization is made possible thanks to FLIR’s specially designed suite of image enhancement options for the Zenmuse XT:
Digital Detail Enhancement™ (DDE) - for boosting image clarity and sharpness
Smart Scene Optimization™ (SSO) - for enhancing peak differences in bimodal scenes
Active Contrast Enhancement™ (ACE) - for using contrast in showing temperature differences in a scene
Information Based HEQ™ (IBHEQ) - for compressing image data to create the best quality image
Seamless Integration and Compatibility
Full compatibility with DJI SDK allows the Zenmuse XT to have complete access to some of the best DJI drone features, such as Intelligent Flight Modes, long-range video transmission, and flight customization and control over the camera subsystems, including the gimbal. It’s fully compatible with the Matrice 100, Matrice 200 Series, Matrice 600, and Inspire 1, with which the Zenmuse XT can provide detailed thermal aerial imagery within seconds, take off in record time, and go on long flights (up to 35 minutes).
