The Parrot Bebop-Pro Thermal is a small thermal imaging quadcopter for professionals in all fields. This solution allows easy and accessible thermal and optical imaging with its EO/IR camera on one end, and HD optical camera on the other. The Bebop-Pro Thermal utilizes the FLIR ONE Pro EO/IR camera and offers a live feed from the drone-mounted camera using the FreeFlight Thermal Mobile app on a mobile phone or tablet mounted to the Skycontroller 2.
FreeFlight Thermal is a free mobile app available on Android OS mobile phones and tablets and is only compatible with the Parrot Bebop-Pro Thermal. The FreeFlight Thermal app offers live video streaming and recording of both thermal and HD optical cameras and allows you to switch between the two at any time as well as choose between 3 different thermal color palettes: Standard, Dynamic, and Hotspot.
The Bebop-Pro Thermal allows operators to quickly and easily locate major thermal losses on rooftops, keeping human personnel on the ground and out of harm's way. It is also good for building envelope analysis, allowing the operator to quickly get an overview of the building's thermal state as well as analyze inaccessible areas with ease.
The Bebop-Pro itself is a small, light, robust, and easy-to-use drone. The HD optical camera enables you to capture 14MP high-res still images as well as 1080p Full-HD videos. With the Skycontroller 2, you can fly the drones exactly where you want, giving you the opportunity to inspect inaccessible areas. The Parrot Bebop Power batteries off up to a 25 minute flight time each.
Visual and Thermal Inspection: the three sensors on such a small drone allow for close inspection using optical or thermal cameras - or both. This allows you to check for physical defects such as cracks or thermal defects such as water leaks or lack of insulation.
Fire Monitoring: thermal imaging allows firefighters to see through the smoke and locate hot spots or active fires and adjust ground crews accordingly to get the situation under control as quickly as possible.
Search and Rescue: the Bebop-Pro not only allows for a wide view of the search area but also allows for quick detection using the thermal camera to locate a person's body heat relative to their surroundings. Its small size allows for entry into confined spaces for a closer look in areas not easily accessible by humans or larger drones.
