Revolutionizing aerial cinematography with DJI Inspire

The DJI Inspire series represents a significant milestone in the evolution of aerial photography and videography, showcasing DJI's commitment to innovation and technology leadership in the drone industry.

Inspire 1

The series debuted with the DJI Inspire 1 in November 2014, introducing groundbreaking features for its time, such as a transforming design that allowed for a 360-degree camera view without obstruction from the drone's arms, and a detachable camera system for easy upgrades and maintenance.

The Inspire 1 set new standards for image quality, stability, and versatility in the professional drone market, equipped with advanced flight modes, high-quality video transmission systems, and sophisticated camera stabilization via its Zenmuse gimbal technology.

Inspire 2

Following the success of the Inspire 1, DJI launched the Inspire 2 in November 2016, further pushing the boundaries of what could be achieved with aerial cinematography.

The Inspire 2 built upon its predecessor's strengths, offering improved flight performance, dual battery systems for extended flight times, and an enhanced video processing system capable of recording up to 6K in CinemaDNG/RAW and 5.2K in Apple ProRes when used with the Zenmuse X7 camera.

This iteration significantly advanced the operational safety and reliability of the drone with features like obstacle avoidance, redundancy systems for critical flight functions, and an updated transmission system supporting dual signal frequency and dual channel, ensuring more stable video transmission and flight control.

Inspire 3

Seven years after the release of Inspire 2, DJI launched the DJI Inspire 3, one of the best film-making tools there is today.

Inspire 3 is a professional-level, all-in-one 8K camera drone that offers unprecedented workflow efficiency, camera language, and creative freedom for aerial cinematography. Its design reduces air resistance, with an increased max dive speed and vertical ascend/descend speed, delivering responsive, accurate control and an extended flight time of up to 28 minutes.

The centimeter-level RTK positioning technology, high-precision stacked ceramic antennas, and omnidirectional sensing system offer centimeter-level accuracy, powerful anti-magnetic-interference capability, and comprehensive protection against obstacles in all directions.

Waypoint Pro enables flight-route and shot planning with a wide range of customized settings, Repeatable Routes, and 3D Dolly modes. Spotlight Pro supports automated subject recognition and locking with greater accuracy than its predecessor.

Additionally, Inspire 3 features a new customizable function to ensure greater flight safety and more creative freedom, with a new 1/1.8-inch-sensor FPV camera and DJI’s latest image processing system, CineCore 3.0.

This drone is tailor-made for aerial cinematography, taking drone cinematography to the next level, and making it easier and more efficient to deliver improved visual effects.

The Inspire series' evolution reflects DJI's dedication to providing filmmakers and aerial photographers with state-of-the-art tools to unleash their creativity and achieve breathtaking visuals from the skies.
