The DJI Inspire series packs incredible power into a small package. The Inspire 1 is is a true workhorse as it is unmatched for its power, size and price point. The Inspire drone series captures some of the best characteristics from the consumer drones and the industrial line of drones from DJI. With retractable landing gear allowing for greater drone camera rotation without obstruction, multiple camera configurations including thermal, and an available payload drop system the DJI Inspire platform is a great alternative to the DJI Matrice line when the budget is a big concern. The Inspire 1 can carry the Zenmuse XT thermal camera wher The Inspire 2 is the number one cinematic drone in its class, with the option for fully integrated 4K, 5.2K, or 6K camera and gimbal units.
About the Inspire 1
Featured Compatible Camera Payloads Armed with advanced DJI technologies, the Inspire 1 V2.0 is designed to be a small yet powerful tool for professional aerial imaging. It doesn’t require any complicated assembly or configuration, thus allowing you to capture high-quality imagery within minutes—with just a tap on the screen for automatic lift-off and landing. Integrated into the Inspire 1 V2.0 is DJI’s very own intelligent flight control system, which features unique, semi-automatic flight modes that enable safe and reliable operations even with minimal control and supervision. The aircraft can also recognize its return-to-home point via the controller’s GPS signal. And once it loses its GPS signal in enclosed areas, the built-in Vision Positioning System (VPS) will keep the drone stable during flight.Zenmuse X3 - The Inspire 1 V2.0 comes with DJI’s powerful Zenmuse X3 with 3-axis gimbal stabilization. The camera features a 1/2.3” CMOS sensor that is capable of delivering UHD 4K (4096x2160 / 3840x2160) videos at up to 30fps and 12-megapixel photos. The lens offers a 94-degree field of view, but the gimbal allows the camera to move independently on three axes, including panning around a full 360-degrees. Focus locking and full control over exposure, ISO, white balance, and other camera settings are also enabled on Manual Mode. Powerful Aerial System with Dual Operation.
Zenmuse XT - Featuring FLIR’s innovative thermal (infrared) core and DJI’s gimbal technology, the Zenmuse XT is everything you would expect from a thermal drone solution. Thermal drones are ideal for applications such as power line, solar, wind turbine inspections, missing person search, and for firefighting.
Zenmuse Z3 - The Zenmuse Z3 is DJI’s high-powered gimbal camera that features a variable zoom range for extended reach. It has a 1/2.3-inch CMOS sensor and can shoot 12MP photos and UHD 4K videos with maximum resolutions of 4096x2160 at 25p and 3840x2160 at 30p. Armed with a 22–77mm f/2.8-5.2 lens, the Z3 offers up to 7x real-time zoom capability (3.5x optical and 2x digital lossless zoom). This allows the camera to zoom in without reducing image quality, thus allowing more versatility and creative freedom.
About the Inspire 2
The Inspire 1 was a revelation. The first filmmaking drone in the world to integrate an HD video transmission system, 360° rotating gimbal and a 4K camera, as well as the simplicity of app control. The launches of the Zenmuse X5 and X5R cameras further cemented the Inspire as a critical tool for filmmakers around the globe. The Inspire 2 takes everything that was good about the Inspire 1 and improves it. The image processing system CineCore2.0 has been upgraded to CineCore2.1, recording video at up to 6K in CinemaDNG/RAW and 5.2K in Apple ProRes when used with Zenmuse X7 camera. It goes from 0 to 50 mph (80 kph) in just 5 seconds and hits a maximum speed of 58 mph (94 kph) and has a max descent speed of 9m/s for unheard of speed and agility in an aircraft this size. A dual battery system prolongs the flight time to a maximum of 27 minutes (with an X4S), while self-heating technology allows it to fly even in low temperatures. FlightAutonomy has been revised and developed specifically for the Inspire 2, providing two directions of obstacle avoidance and sensor redundancy. Increased intelligence adds multiple intelligent flight modes, including Spotlight Pro, giving even single pilots the ability to create complex, dramatic shots. An upgraded video transmission system is now capable of dual signal frequency and dual channel, streaming video from an onboard FPV camera and the main camera simultaneously, for better pilot and camera operator collaboration.X4S - The Zenmuse X4S is a powerful camera featuring a 20 megapixel 1-inch sensor and a maximum ISO of 12,800. Dynamic range is increased from the Zenmuse X3 by 1 stop, with signal to noise ratio and color sensitivity increased by 1.5 stops for next-level image quality. The Zenmuse X4S uses a DJI-designed compact lens with low dispersion and low distortion 24mm equivalent prime lens. This 84° FOV, high resolution lens makes the Zenmuse X4S as powerful during aerial imaging as it is on the ground.Combined with CineCore 2.0, the Inspire 2’s powerful image processing system, it can record 4K/60 H.264 and 4K/30 H.265 videos at a 100Mbps bitrate, and oversample 5.2K video into 4K video in real-time, capturing fine image details. In Burst Mode, the Zenmuse X4S supports 14fps shooting at 20 megapixels in both JPEG and DNG formats.
X7 - The Zenmuse X7 is a compact Super 35 camera with an integrated gimbal made for high-end filmmaking that delivers stunning resolution and image quality. Its compatibility with the Inspire 2 offers the best in next-level professional aerial cinematography. A 24 MP CMOS sensor rated at 14 stops of dynamic range preserves astonishing detail and offers both 6K CinemaDNG and 5.2K Apple ProRes with support for continuous RAW burst shooting at 20 fps and 24 MP stills. The X7 also introduces the DL-Mount, the world's first integrated aerial lens mount that allows switching between four available prime lenses quickly. For seamless editing, a new DJI Cinema Color System preserves accurate colors for easier post-processing. These latest innovations allow filmmakers to reach new heights and capture scenes as they imagine them with the DJI Zenmuse X7. It is able to make the difficult balance between agility and image quality.
X5S - Equipped with an uprated Micro 4/3 sensor, the Zenmuse X5S has a dynamic range of 12.8 stops with a much improved signal to noise ratio and color sensitivity than the X5R. It supports up to eight standard M4/3 lenses (including zoom lenses) with focal lengths ranging from 9mm-45mm (equivalent to 18mm-90mm on a 35mm camera), allowing more creative flexibility. The new CineCore 2.0 image processing system on the Inspire 2 makes the Zenmuse X5S capable of capturing 5.2K 30fps CinemaDNG video and Apple ProRes video as well as 4K 60fps using H.264 and 4K 30fps using H.265 (both at 100Mbps). Continuous DNG burst shooting at 20fps with 20.8MP images is also supported. The Zenmuse X5S was designed to keep pace with the rigors of high-end professional aerial imaging.
